Vogue Williams and Luke Mabbott help a family in West Yorkshire whose renovation project has dragged on for eight years. Richard and Nangula bought Richard's childhood home from his parents when they downsized, hoping to preserve precious memories by keeping it in the family. They also wanted to put their own stamp on the place, embarking on an ambitious extension and renovation plan. But sadly, it's now badly behind schedule and over budget. Vogue offers up project management and scheduling advice to finish three key spaces: the kitchen-diner, a bedroom and an ensuite bathroom. She also devises some design ideas to create the lavish, opulent look Nangula loves, including clever use of mouldings and wallpaper to inject character into the boxy bedroom. Meanwhile, Luke teaches DIY newbies Richard, Nangula and their adult children some new skills to help them regain a sense of control over their project.
