anyone else having an audio issue with this file?

in the .mkv it\'s more faint, but it still sounds a bit tinny. the problem is magnified significantly when i
converted the file to .mp4 (for 360 playback).

i thought my speakers/pc sound might be a little off, but i don\'t have the same problem when opening up
other 720p files....

it is the file. the audio sounds like it recorded in a room with the tv on. whoever encoded the file may
have had an environment effect set on their sound card.

is this going to be repacked? the (good) audio file on it's own would be ok so we could re-mux it
with mkvmerge. this saves you having to re-download the whole thing again.

the audio file would have to from the original file before it was encoded but this time without the
'enviroment effect'. if it's not there will be sync trouble.

bad audio. it seems we only have the front left and front right track of 5.1 instead of a left and
right stereo downmix. this is evident when the bbc announcer during the end credits who should be
on the center track of 5.1 is almost completely inaudiable.

i'm very greatful to the people who encode and up these but surely they watch thier encodes before
release!!!

the opening scene involving countryside atmos and music wouldn't make apparent the very common
mistake that has been made here, so maybe thats all they checked.

is the encoding 2channel or 5.1? why mess with the audio track, or at least go to multichannel aac and
retain its integrity...

all my speakers are definitely active, but the center channel is spread across the front three.
no sign of this being nuked or a proper.

edit: turns out the bbc messed up the broadcast. hopefully we'll see a proper from a re-airing.

i'll give this a try until there's a proper 720p/5.1:

i have a good stereo audio track that would have been broadcast with the sd version. using mkvmerge
can you strip away the audio track and replace or simple add my good audio track as a second audio
option.

anyone know how to sync it???

does the original uploader want the audio track, i can up it to soundcloud or something, so he she
can do a repack?

it's in 192k mp3....don't ask where i got it....lets just say i live near cardiff 😉
