forced to change their lifestyle after the man of the house gets sent to the big house. cheryl,

scoundrels is produced by abc studios and is based on a new zealand series entitled outrageous
fortune. lyn greene & richard levine (nip/tuck) and francie calfo serve as executive producers. john
barnett, whose company, south pacific pictures, produces the new zealand series, is also an
executive producer. co-executive producers are michael larkin, michael goldstein, bruce cervi and
john lansing.

i have to say i enjoyed it. for anyone who liked the show "easy money" starring laurie metcalf which
was about a family who run a high interest loan service, this should be right up your street. both shows
seem to have the similar themes - based around the mother, large family, dealing with money in
gray/dodgy areas.

since easy money was cancelled after a few episodes, i hope this lasts longer.

i liked this show and thought the several plots were perfect for it.

it's certainly better than those "not another vampire" show/movie.

as you know this is a totally americanized version of "outrageous fortune" (made in new zealand)
it still has some of the good bits and its interesting to see the difference. but i highly recommend
the original to this remake.
how ever if you cant get your hands on outrageous fortune this is ok.

i've seen honest, and frankly, i don't need another remake.

i have watched the first 5 episodes and this is not what i expected,i found it very boring,nothing seems to
happen to keep my attention,so therefore will not be watching anymore just my opinion..
