um,is there any reason this file is 2gb for 1 hour?
just curious...
720p @ 2gb gives a fantastic bitrate, which determines it's overall quality.
in other words 2gb > 1gb. i.e. better qualilty.
seeing as how 45 minute 720p episodes of stuff are now coming out at 1.5gb, i wouldn't have been
surprised if this episode of the walking dead was 2.5-3gb.
it may take some extra time to download, but it's certainly worth it in the end, especially if it's been
originally shot in hd.
in any case, it's ultimately up to the uploading group to determine it's file size. perhaps they thought this
show deserved more than the usual.
i thought this would be just another zombie story (with poor story writing) but from the 1st episode
it seems like they put some money into the story instead of putting it all into makeup like all the
other average zombie movies.
i thought this was a great show at least its a good break from the countless detective shows, i mean
seriously today's tv is either detective shows or reality tv show at least some1 is doing something
different ..until this 2 gets swallowed up into some weird zombie detective show... um... yeah bye.
they didn't put any money into the story as it was already written before the show existed.
it's based on a comic book series by the same name. the author robert kirkman was always a fan of
zombie films but wanted to explore what happened after the heroes survived week one. how do they deal
with their world being thrown into chaos and live amongst an ever present threat. he started writing that
comic over 4 years ago and it's still going strong. it's defiantly worth checking out the source if you liked
the tv version.
the first episode was remarkably faithful to the comic, even down to the framing of certain plot events. if
this keeps up it's sure to be a huge success.
