self-preservation.

legally, marriage between 1st cousins is illegal in many us states but some
permit them (some have restrictions though). no legal restricitons on 2nd
cousins marrying. relationships between 1st cousins (outside of legal marriage)
are considered illegal. relationships between 2nd cousins or more distant are
considered legal.

laws are pretty similar in other countries too... queen elizabeth and price
philip are actually second cousins (which may explain the mutant ears on prince
charles).

the actual definition of what's considered incest is different in many places
but it's pretty universal that immediate family and 1st cousins is... beyond
that it varies.

genetically relationships between 2nd cousins or greater are considered to be
diverse enough not to be considered a risk to the child.

i don't think it would have been too bad. they share one
great-great-grandparent. that's probably well over 100 years of separation.

technically speaking, it's generally fine for 2nd cousins to procreate. it's

i know people who are cousins (1st) and are married in scotland. they have 3
children and they are all wrong in the head. it's just not right.

i would say 3rd cousins are ok, and 2nd maybe if you're kinda distant to begin
with or something. few exceptions for that though. and 1st cousins are just
non-starters. it's sick.

the problem has nothing to do with years. the problem is that they have a
common ancestor. we count that in generations, not in years.

although, while your reasoning may be flawed, your conclusion is not. their
offspring would not be at a high risk for genetic defects.

technically, we're all inbreeding at *some* level, except for the guy who was
banging the aids monkey.

i would definitely say no.
1) i'm one of those guys who finds implants to be extremely unattractive.
2) i wouldn't fuck a pornstar without a condom, and sex just isn't that fun with

3) nobody would ever believe the story anyways.

really think you should give him another chance. his intentions were obviously

potentially a real time- and money-saver. personally, i will grab the proper

back here. he was being thoughtful and productive, even if he did break a rule.

i don\'t know the history or the whole story, but please do reconsider this ban.
the guy was just trying to be helpful (from what i could tell), and helpful
individuals are important to keep around if we want the community to stay strong.
