Hell on Wheels 1x01 (HDTV-ASAP)

i love a good western series. if it is anywhere near as good as deadwood we'd be lucky

but only if it makes it past season 3 then we would be lucky.

heard it was bad

i've been pretty impressed with wild boys.

trailer looks good. and as it advertises...it's from the same network that brought us the walking dead and
breaking bad. they've had 2 successes...why not a 3rd?

not to mention "the killing" which was awesome.

and rubicon as well. this one looks pretty good so far.

not bad.

the girl lamenting "people" ruining the wilderness was a ridiculous anachronism. at the time, the wilderness
was not held in high regard for its beauty, but thought of as a wild thing that needed to be tamed (because
it was dangerous). i'm also disappointed that they decided to make the protagonist a confederate, but
chickened out and made him a late to the party abolitionist. after dexter, the shield and the sopranos, i'd
have thought that it'd become plain that adult viewers can tolerate morally ambiguous lead characters.

still those are fairly small quibbles considering the quality of the majority of tv shows. i'll definitely be
watching e02.
