screw this mp4 bullshit

why is this file so big? - i thought this new format was supposed to give us reduced file sizes for the same
quality.

love this show. glad to see it in mp4 at a higher quality and smaller size than what was posted last
season for the 720p version which 1.5gb - 2gb in size per episode.

is anyone else annoyed they shooting episodes at 60 frames per second now? just looks so raw... hate
this.

question any easy programs to downsample back to 30 or 24 frames?

this infestation of x264 .mp4 files is really irrating to me personally, though i do understand why
some people prefer them. ideally, it would be better if we could have both versions here, so people
can choose which one they need.

i found the lip sync was out - but watched anyway - the amount of times they show the person
actually speaking is minimal. so if you're not uber freaked out by the sound - the quality of pic is
fine.

having said that, my dvd player sometimes has a moment re sound and video. so the file maybe fine -
however my player couldn't process it at the needed thingo (highly technical there!)
