Warehouse 13 4x01 (HDTV-x264-FQM)

how do you fix the sound ?

there is a serious 'phase' like problem with this one. it sounds like it's been recorded through a
beer can o.o
funny though because the very beginning is ok then after a few seconds the problem appears.
...a fix would be welcome :-)

i verified the 720 version and it has the same special effect included o.o
maybe when the re-run airs we can get a new one then?

well, with comments like those, i'm guessing this will get nuked for a proper.

hmm, released 5+ hours ago. two comments about the audio.
just checked the database...has not been nuked.
not one of my regular shows so i can't comment on audio...yet...downloading it now 🙂
anyone else care to comment on the audio?


update: i played the show on a pc with pretty decent stereo speakers and subwoofer, used vlc
player...the sound was fine in they beginning, then varied throughout the remainder sounding just a
little bit tinny. not too bad. very watchable imo. not sure if it was broadcast this way or if there was an
error in the transcoding or encoding. [shrugs]. we shall see tomorrow if it is nuked. i for one am
satisfied with this release...since i don't save the show...just watch and delete.


2nd update: according to users of "syfy warehouse 13 blog" and a fellow torrent'er on irc...
the episode aired this way. not a scene issue or torrent group issue. if you're curious what's being said

i'm sorry but artrie (with a small a ) does not get to steal dr.who's trade mark saying.
i really liked the show till he did that. i will edit latter after i have watched the episode through.

has anyone checked the audio against the 720 version?

see ferry's post above: the problem is with the source material, not any one release. one of the posters
on the linked blog mentioned that the issue even affected a repeat airing, so in all likelihood there won't be
a better version of this until a dvd release, if that.

i watched this episode and despite knowing there were supposed to be audio issues, i didn't even
notice any problems! seemed perfectly watchable/listenable to me. i'm not doubting what anyone else
has reported, just saying that whatever the audio issues are, they weren't significant enough to
bother me at all.

i guess we are not true audiophiles with top-of-the-line 5.1 surround sound systmes 😛

if so, patent that trademark saying before dr. who does it!
