does everybody watch tv live in the usa then, did pvrs including tivo or dvd
recorders not take off state side. i dvd record my uk tv shows then time slip
the adverts. so i dont see them. there is a negative side as i never realy see
when new shows are starting. so i have to buy a tv listings mag.

i work for a very small isp like <1000 clients and we get 3 of these notices a
week.
one bloke claimed the notices was dated before he was installed, checked the
time stamps and you wouldnt beleive it but he was pinged within 30 minutes of
using the service. how unlucky can you get?

that might be the case if you are doing anything in-country (i am australian
too btw) - i know of at least 10 mates here who have received dmca notices
from their isp (exetel and wild it, plus a couple of others) after they've
been monitored offshore downloading/seeding (mainly from seeding) torrents.
believe me, if they're going to get you, they're going to get you. australian
privacy acts don't have any holding once you go offshore.
