just in case anyone couldn't place why this seemed familiar (like me), it's the chris carter pilot that was put up for free
streaming on amazon.com last month. it was recently ordered to series, along with several other pilots there. i imagine
we'll see it late this year or early next.

a screener for this leaked ages ago. it felt like a pretty good production. bit of an unknown cast
and it ended on a cliffhanger so hard to pin down really. it leaked a while back so its a bit fuzzy.
i'm eager to see where it goes though after just the 1 episode so i'm glad its finally airing.

if by "ages ago" you mean feb 06, 2014, six weeks, then sure, ok. ๐
however, it wasn't a screener, or a leak. amazon prime instant video released the pilot
to the public, for free, online, feb 06, 2014. the pilot then appeared on thepiratebay feb 08,
2014, torrented by an independent group. the following day, feb 9th, the pilot was release by the
scene. eztv waited to see if the pilot would be picked up for series. it was recently announced
that amazon ordered 'the after' to series. now that we know there will be a series, we torrented
the pilot.

thank god - i saw the amazon release and am glad that they have decided to start production on
the series. it left me wanting more. it has lots of potential. as with all series there will be haters, i
mean there are countless shows out there that i hate ie: any show involving csi or la law type
shows but i let them alone as there are a lot of lovers of that crap. so to all the haters ๐ฉ

decent enough pilot.
my only complaint is the fucking leprechaun accent.
if you're going to have an irish character and cannot find a half-decent irish actor, at least get someone
who can do a proper irish accent.

this annoys the hell out of me too. there are a tonne of great irish actors out there anyway (look
at got, etc), so i don't know why the hell it's so difficult for producers to find them.
