and even if it was so, the season hasn't been very good so far. so "best episode" doesn't mean anything at all.

i thought it was a lovely episode and that this doctor's damage is slowly being revealed. like the previous new doctor's there's
always this settling period that is sort of inconsistent and dodgy, i assume it's intentionally written so as to reflect the adjusting
regeneration.
i'm looking forward to seeing how capaldi portrays a doctor who is in new territory; a new regeneration cycle.

i agree best episode so far, this season it's getting better by the episodes.
i didn't have faith in this season but now i'm optimistic, next episode looks great!
