as an independent filmmaker, the real purpose of trying to
sell your first film after its awesome festival run is to raise
the funds to make your second film. last summer, as part of an

next film, i challenged the entire internet to crowdsource a
distribution offer for chanthaly. nearly 400 contributors put up
money for my second film, and now, you have my first one to watch,
