Couldn't stick with this through season one. It just got too bad down the road :/

I don't know why it got renewed. One of the worst 'sci-fi' I ever seen , and probably the worst I've
seen produced by RDM. Why does this gets to live when more thought out shows get cancelled?

You can't call this "sci-fi", there was no "science" in there. Managed to watch up to ep 10 or so,
and it was mostly just drama, with a drop or two of horror in between, but still mostly just drama.
Problem with drama: some people are addicted to it, but I can't stand it.

Nothing wrong with drama if it is being produced in a way that makes it interesting.
Unfortunately, "The Strain" turned out to be the show "Helix" should have been.
