I'm really loving this series. Sad to think that Canada, known for the kindness of it's people, had the same obnoxious, self-
righteous, greedy assholes from the past that thought it was ok to invade, kill en masse and enslave the Native people. I'm
almost glad the Natives didn't survive the European disease that would have kept them slaves all their lives. On the other
hand it shows the length and breadth of the stupidity of the Christian religion to believe they had the right to genocide an
entire people because they didn't have the same religious beliefs. Had the natives been able to hold on to this land, it
wouldn't be filled with smog, chemically fouled water sources and even greater bullies who believe money gives them the
right to financially enslave us all. Just goes to show you can put civilization into the man, but you'll never change the greed,
selfishness and pure evil that evolves along with all the technological advances. The Native people told stories about how a
creator brought them to life or how they landed upon the earth from the sky. I wonder if the "creator" that left them here
knew how the evil of the rest of the world would destroy them and the world he left them on.
