Resurrection is based on the book "The Returned" by Jason Mott, this is a remake of the the french tv series "Les Revenants" or
"The Returned" which is based on a french film.
What is funny is how Jason Mott has said what inspired him to write the novel and there isnt a mention of the french film or tv
series and yet the name and premise are the same. so just a strange coincidence?
