Is this going to be a regular thing or just sometimes

Hopefully they'll add a checkmark filter on the hits to remove those like they did for x265, or improve the search functionality to allow a blank search except the subtract parameter like "-AV1" to exclude them.

I'd rather the subtract parameter be added because it would be useful for other search filtering too.

Why no x265 and all of a sudden 1080p with AV1 encoding. This will require transcoding for most of my clients. Including NVidia Shields. Stupid

I welcome our new AV1 overlords 8-)
