the higher ups do not want this on the air.... the last thing the people in
control want is a informed public!
our nation is headed toward a government that wants to outlaw all weapons, and
then instate a new world order!
people like you are why we had a waco, texas. stupid hicks...

actually i think the fears about networks getting less adventurous aren't
really well founded. yes jericho has been cancelled but in came in the wake of
the failure of the likes of firefly, and it was hardly as if anyone at the
network imagined jericho was going to be an easy sell to the viewing public
and yet they took the chance, twice. i believe that tv may be a business but
the people in it seem to have a certain optimism that says, 'sure a show like
this one failed a couple of years ago but this time will be different'.
what's surprising is not that jericho was cancelled but that any network was
willing to greenlight it in the first place with such a dark downbeat premise.

i think the whole reason this didn't get good enough ratings is because
americans are basically taut to trust their government, and when a show comes on
that challenges this, alot of people don't watch. if this was a british show
this would have had brilliant ratings and gone on for 7 series.

you\'re kidding, right?
not at all. of course, we\'re all entitled to our opinions and i could see why
people want terminator to be a better show than it actually is (count me in that
group). the premise is so cool. the idea of cyborgs and future soldiers
battling it out in present day has limitless potential once you get beyond the
time-travel paradox. i have opined this view a few times before but here goes.
the writing in terminator is sophomoric at best. the only thing this show
needs is an overhaul in script production and you may have something. but until
that happens, i\'m afraid it will stink to high heaven. obviously there are
people who don\'t share my opinion and i say more power to you folks. i just
can\'t past the wooden dialog and lack of real production values. i watch a show
like terminator for there to be at least be one kick-ass action sequence per
show to go along with the drama. sadly, we got none of that in the season
finale. the second half was far better but the whole \'battle\' with cromartie
throwing the fbi agents armed to the teeth into a pool with a smattering of red
food coloring just didn\'t cut it for me.
all that said, i will give the second season a chance but it will be a short leash.

ya guess that means we get more reality shows! i so love watching wannabe paris
hilton shows - they make me feel so special. ok on a serius note though- they
had this writers strike to get more pay but what are they doing? they cancelling
good shows and putting crap like reality shows on the air- the world really is
spiralling down with stupidity.
these tv execs use old rating systems that show only a margin of the real
picture- i mean how many ppl actually watch these shows on tv or download them
on the net? i cancelled my sky sub cause it was a waste of money.
all these ratings shows is bored housewives watching reality tv so thye think oh
yeah they must be popular- lets cancel all shows that need a brain to watch and
put more retarded reality shows with a bunch of idiots.
annoys me the way this whole situation is going with tv.
all the decent stuff is gone- theres no more imagination left in the world.

totally agree!!! american government like to rule the world. maybe they need to
have a look at them self first before tellings others how to live... not saying
everything they have done was all wrong. but chill out a little... let others
make mistakes not just live with yours... and sorry to turn this great website
into any political arena!!!
to cbs
you could have given us a final to the story, not just cut it off mid season...
regardless of home many other shows there are, people like to watch more than
just a few..., and not everyone likes to watch the same.....

john connor is a wuss and the sarah connor chronicles were so bad that they made
me wanna cry. on the other hand great stuff like jericho which is as good as bsg
storywise gets axed. that's ratings for ya- many lobotomized people watch tv so
that's who controls the market.

hey now! i'm one of those bored housewives...but the only reality i watched
this year was make me a supermodel (naked, pretty boys--like i'd not
watch that? sheesh) and deadliest catch. the rest of my 40+ hours of tv
watching each week is all drama (plus 30 minutes of comedy, the big bang
theory).
don't blame us!
i'm annoyed with tv at this point as well, and as such most everything i watch
is dled...and i've made a promise to myself that come this fall i will not be
watching anything new until half-way through the season and the ratings bear out
whether or not it will be back. (i'm not a nielson family, so it doesn't really
matter if i don't tune in to watch). i'm tired of getting short seasons, and
series' that are canceled half-way through. hopefully, by waiting, i won't have
to deal with it again.
of course, with my luck i'll get odyssey 5ed, or jeremiahed.
(canceled after one whole, incredible season.) *sigh*
