hi i appreciate the great work done with eztv but at the same time i'm wondering if all these adverts have anything to do with eztv promoting them? and the zen vpn man in black appearing all the time? much appreciated. regards |

eztv.it does not use adverts. absolutely no money generating advertisements. are you accessing eztv through a proxy? what url are you using to reach eztv? if you are using a proxy then they are adding the adverts, not us. ![]() |

can we please stop all these pop-ups each time we click on any link at all. i realise you need to make money from clicks but the huge amount of pops is hugely annoying, pushing people away is not very profitable. and i am using eztv.it without a proxy |

eztv.it does not have any popups (excluding the promo image on the top right) |

http://eztv.ch ![]() if you experience popups each time you click on a link, then... 1) you have a virus that is responsible for the popup. (scan your computer for browser hijacks) or, 2) using a third party proxy, to reach our site, and they, the third party, are using popups., if you are using eztv-proxy.net, eztv.come.in, etc, they use ads or popups, we do not. if you need to use a proxy then i recommend that you turn on your browser's popup blocker and/or use an ad blocker. this way you can surf without annoying ads and popups. |

i've noticed recently that some of the torrent links lead to the download of an executable file called 'eztv_proxy_-_tv_torrents_online_-_hosted_by_eztv-proxy.net.exe' instead of the normal torrent file. obviously i am extremely suspicious of any executable file downloaded, so i delete this immediately and try another torrent source until i get the normal file. any explanation as to what this is? fyi the link used is http://www ![]() |

http://eztv.ch ![]() one is the genuine eztv site and the other is third party proxy. if you don't like the files that the third party proxy site is serving then don't click on them, and/or don't use their site. |

the admin is generally pretty busy with his real job, family, and life's many other obligations. he infrequently reads messages and rarely has the time to reply. you can send me a private message at: http://eztv.it/pm/inbox/create/120583/ ![]() if warranted, i will contact the admin. |

i'm on eztv.it - using the same bookmark i've been using for 5-6 odd years, and i am also getting (blocked) popups every time i click on a link. i am not using any of the proxies, so you may want to look into it and not dismiss it immediately... |

bf did not dismiss ur problem but it is not on there end like he sad they dont use any kind of money generating popups i have had the same kind of problem twice but that was becource of an browser virus i do have to say some of those viruses are tough to detect and may need to be deleted manually and programs like avg ore mcafee are likely to not detect them easyest was is to check ur add-ons(in firefox) widgets(in crome) for any malicieus plug in ore extention if you dont know one in that list google the name and delete it out of the list here is an wiki page on the problem it might help you more then i can: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/browser_hijacking ![]() |
