during the past 24 hours eztv experienced some downtime. when eztv is unreachable, cloudflare, a service we use to help protect against ddos attacks, was forwarding some people, or displaying cached pages, to proxy-eztv.net, and the proxy site was serving popup ads. although your browser's address bar probably showed our address eztv.it, you were actually forwarded to proxy-eztv.net, by cloudflare, and at the top of the page there was text that clearly stated that you were seeing cached pages or were forwarded. there was also a good sized black box over the eztv logo that says "proxy network", and on the left side there was a button to click to retry making a live connection to eztv.it. however, i am not aware of any connectivity issues the other day when another member was experiencing popups. i believe his/her issue to be unrelated to our downtime yesterday. in the end, eztv.it does not use ads or popups, but third party proxy sites do. |

okay i wrote a private message to the admin...got no answer but i got flagged from your site for downloading defiance....got a rather nasty letter saying nbc complained to my cable company....now i'm scared to download from here....i've taken extra precautions with fire walls and peer guardian...but it didn't matter..... |

the admin is very busy with work, home life, and many time consuming projects. therefore he is highly unlikely to reply to private messages, unless the issue requires his personal attention. your issue is not with eztv.it. you didn't get "flagged" for visiting our site. eztv does not host video files, eztv only provides links to torrent files. a torrent file is not a video file. firewalls and peerguardian are not foolproof methods of protecting you personal identity online. the issue is not with specific scene groups, or with specific torrent groups, or what website you obtain your torrent files from. tv networks (especially hbo and showtime) have been randomly monitoring torrent swarms and sending out notices through isp's for several years now. this is nothing new, although they have greatly increased their activity this past year. there are thousands of tv/radio/print/online news articles about this subject. please read up, educate yourself. there are many options/methods for keeping your identity private when online...even when torrenting. one proven method of protecting your identity online is to use a vpn. here is an article about vpn services form the good folks at torrentfreak.com https://torrentfreak.com/which-vpn-services-take-your-anonymity-seriously-2014-edition-140315/ ![]() you got flagged for downloading a video of the tv show defiance, not for downloading a torrent file using a link from eztv.it if you are concerned with privacy issues then educate yourself. don't place blame where it doesn't belong. p.s. on the previous page, you asked about contacting the admin and i told you he would not reply...so why are you surprised? i also gave you a link to contact me privately...but you have not. |

none of us on the eztv team are experiencing issues with images loading/displaying. more than 10,000 page loads per day and only three reports of issues displaying images. try these links... http://ezimg.ch/t/test/test_jpg.jpg ![]() http://ezimg.ch/t/test/test_png.png ![]() do either of these two images load/display? please provide details...and we will look into possible solutions. please provide the full url from two or three pages where you are experiencing the issue. also, right click where an image is supposed to be, select properties, what is the image url? paste the image url into your browser and hit enter...does it load/display the image. what browser and version are you using? are you using any ad blocking software? if yes, which one and what version? |

the images haven't worked for me or anyone i've known since the maintenance. figured you knew and didn't feel the need to say anything. at any rate it's an issue with http://ezimg.ch ![]() most likely only certain geological regions that aren't work but i'm not sure which ones or how wide spread. if you check the domain with http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ezimg.ch.html ![]() if you check it with http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ezimg.ch ![]() downforeveryoneorjustme.com is in dallas but isitdownrightnow.com is in san diego so it could be fairly small pockets that aren't working. |
