this isn't the 2004 uk show, it is the 2010/2011 remake for the us.

love it, at last the uk can pass some education in decadance back to the us, think i'll give it a
miss, the uk show is bad enough, when i say bad i mean good, it sums the state of things up very
well, but with enough real shameless around me i don't need to have it come indoors as well.

i'm really not a fan of the uk version but i see william h macy is playing frank gallagher?? this i
have to see!

well i seem to be untainted by the knowledge of seeing a uk version of this show.

i will say though i really enjoyed this show based on the first episode and can see myself enjoying
the troubles the family in it get up to.

i like how the family seems to work in an odd unconventional.

it gets my bearded seal of approval.

(i hadn't even heard of the uk version before i opened the comment thing so i have no standing on if
it is better or worse only that i enjoyed this)

i only saw one episode of uk version back in 2006 on showtime but did not gave it too much thought.

just finishing this us version and i love every minute of it. i am sure maybe the creator will clean up a
little bit after all the rightwing conservative groups mail in their disapproval and their threats.

realy wish the yanks would stop taking british tv shows and destroying them!!!

i literally hated the uk series but found william h macy and emmy rossum (they're both brilliant in
my opinion) too much to resist giving the first episode a look and loved it. also has joan cusack in
it who is a stellar actress.

we really hate that the british copy anything we do like use electricity, televisions, make movies,
etc. the worst is when you guys think you can cook...talk about life having no flavor.

i'm a big fan of the uk shameless but after watching the usa one i feel that the people who made this
one should be taken out and shot. another great show f**ked up by the usa tks a lot

it seems fans of the uk one don't like this one, and people who hated the uk are loving this one.
