cite your source. hell, show me even ancillary evidence of this. one can clearly see the evidence of how effective online petitions have done historically, but i see no evidence of the veracity of your claim. obviously there are bound to be *some* people who were involved in the petition and the actual effective actions, but i'd be amazed if that number was even 1%.
that's utterly naive. i'm not saying it's not true on ocaission, but the fact is, real life doesn't work that way. western culture is entirely too self involved for such things to be the norm rather than the exception, to the point that from a mathematical sense it's approaching non-existant. a more realistic point would be to never underestimate the power of apathy, indifference, greed, and naivete in western culture. fb |

maybe you need to send futtbucker a *link* to this thing called a *book* so that he can educate himself in things that are other than just web based info. life exists outside the web! |

from imdb "a massive campaign has been mounted by fans of jericho, which got off to an impressive start at the beginning of the season but appeared to lose most of its audience following its winter hiatus. those who remained loyal to the show have launched an online petition that has already been signed by more than 60,000 and have also posted thousands of messages to nina tassler, president of cbs entertainment, protesting the drama's cancellation. a preamble posted on the website ..................., "this show has touched us all like no other before it. it is unique. it is another high-quality show cast aside by the networks." the website suggests that the show may have "suffered for its success" since, it said, many viewers had decided to watch it on their digital video recorders and online. tassler responded that she, too, had been a fan of the show "and we are humbled by your disappointment. in the coming weeks, we hope to develop a way to provide closure to the compelling drama that was the jericho story." |

at least pro7 could dub alternative dialogue so they give up jericho in the final episode instead of leaving the story hanging (ok wouldn't explain train/tank bit but hey....) lol |

god obviously doesn't watch tv. and we get it 'god' you didn't like jericho, wont change my opinion thou. jericho was a quality drama with strong characters, maybe nbc could look into the usa network [characters welcome...] picking it up from the production company. (now im dreaming..... ![]() |

already sent an email out to pro7 if they can not help put pressure on cbs after buying yet another "dead" show. pleas show your support in the efforts to help bring the show back - at least for a second season. this has worked before! roswell, arrested development, veronica mars, and yes, even star trek |

so in conclusion, i think we're all in agreement here. jericho needs to stay caged and their cast/crew/writer dismantled and shipped to iraq where they can serve some sort of purpose. |

i usually think it's stupid when 'fans' start campaigning to get their shows back after their canceled, by spamming message boards etc (like the black donnellys of recent), but this jerico nuts business is kinda cool. it's getting a lot of attention. it might have legs. cbs might even concede some sort of tv movie or whatever to close up the story, which would be better than nothing, and better than what most canceled shows get. |
